Tomorrow is the big day--Day 1 of the Championship Series.
The team is getting breakfast together at a hotel in town at 9:00 and then heading to the fields. We put up the fence at practice today so luckily we don't have to get to the fields early tomorrow to do that.
We take on Leksand in a double header tomorrow, starting at noon. The weather forecast is good, although I know well enough by now just how finicky the weather is here. Last time we faced Leksand, we won the first game and lost the second in a tough battle. Hopefully we can take both tomorrow. I am feeling good!
We will travel to Leksand next weekend to play a maximum of 3 games, but hopefully we will only need to win 1 game. It is a best of 5 series, so taking 2 tomorrow would be huge! Let's go, Saints!!
